Knowledge Quest
The Knowledge Quest will provide members of the Jamat an opportunity to participate in impromptu games that pose questions on topics including:
- 50 Years of Glorious Imamat
- Speeches by Mawlana Hazar Imam
- Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN)
- AKF and Focus
- Arts & Culture
- Just for Kids
The Knowledge Quest will not be a formal competition resulting in local, regional, or national winners, but rather will serve as a fun-filled event that will educate the Jamat on the AKDN and Imamat. No prior preparation will be required.
The aim of the event is two-fold:
(a) Increase the Jamat's awareness about the Aga Khan Development Network and Imamat projects
(b) Maximize the Jamat's participation during this celebratory year
It is hoped that through this interactive method of learning, members of the Jamat will have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the global and historical tradition of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims and how the Imamat and Ismailis have continuously sought and applied knowledge within an ethical framework to realize the social conscience of Islam.
What is Knowledge Quest?
- A fun filled, family oriented, game for all ages
- Teams can be comprised of families, IVC members, Mukhi/Kamadias, youth, leadership, seniors, combinations of these and more
